BJC's Charles Henson Recognized for DEI

May 2024 - Charles Henson, BJC planning, design and construction (PD&C) senior diversity manager, was recently recognized at the Connections to Success annual tribute. BJC sponsors the organization, which provides a comprehensive network of services and support to help people living in poverty become economically self-sufficient. 

Henson’s work includes workforce development efforts that introduce high school and middle school student to careers in construction and healthcare. He is a resource for contractors, architects and engineering firms working on BJC construction projects in developing long-term relationships with minority and women-owned firms (MBE/WBE), helping to identify opportunities for participation, and monitoring the engagement and success of MBE/WBE firms on projects throughout BJC’s east region.
