August 16, 2024 - One of the tower cranes will be disassembled over the weekend, closing a lane of northbound Kingshighway just north of Barnes-Jewish Plaza.
August 2024 - St. Louis Children’s Hospital KIDstruction Week Ambassador, Grady, visited the Campus Renewal site next door at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in June. The BJC and McCarthy teams treated Grady, his mom and three brothers to a fun outing and popsicles. He made new friends in hard hats and steel-toed boots.
June 11, 2024 - It was a beautiful day to celebrate a signficant milestone - the topping out of the new Plaza West Tower at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, representing more than 1.7 million hours of labor. The final structural beam, signed by trades men and women, employees, physicians, patients and families, was hoisted 300+ feet to the top of the tower.
