Construction site serves as research lab

The construction site for an administrative office building for Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s hospitals is serving as a research lab of a different sort.

Occupational health experts at the school of medicine, among a handful of researchers worldwide dedicated to measuring and improving the safety climate in construction, hope their methodical observations and resulting recommendations will be adopted into construction safety management systems around the country. Read more.
