The new inpatient divisions enable comprehensive, integrated care to produce best outcomes, leverage technology and increase efficiencies. Ceiling lifts in half of patient rooms facilitate safer, more efficient patient movement.
Pneumatic tubes are located at the central nursing station and medication rooms on the east and west wings.
Trash chutes will be used for movement of soiled linen and non-biohazard trash.
Each unit improves the patient and family experience with all private rooms, dining on call and Oneview TV, with virtual patient education and on-demand TV, and enhanced family accommodations.
