March 2025 - Mike Hayes, BJC vice president of Planning, Design and Constructions, is the recipient of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s (SIUE’s) 2025 Construction Leadership Institute (CLI) Alumni Leadership Award. The award recognizes an outstanding graduate who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and service to the St. Louis area building community. The recognition coincided with the program’s March 7 graduation.
February 2025 - A group participating in MOKAN’s pre-apprentices training program visited the Campus Renewal site recently. The site visit was one element of MOKAN’s comprehensive training program.
February 2025 - The final section of the old pedestrian bridge over Barnes-Jewish Plaza has been demolished. The escalators and elevators are being removed, and the area eventually will become more parking spaces on every level.
January 28, 2025 - The 500+ Campus Renewal trades men and women mingled with leadership Tuesday and heard words of appreciation during the project’s monthly safety and schedule update.
January 2025 - Contractors will close the patient and visitor entrance/exit to the Plaza Garage from Barnes-Jewish Plaza for five weekends starting the evening of January 17.
