March 10, 2023 - The Campus Renewal team celebrated Women in Construction Week March 5-11 with daily speakers and networking opportunities, including a happy hour and a taco lunch. This year’s theme, “Many Paths, One Mission,” celebrated the different journeys women have taken toward the same goal: strengthening and amplifying the success of women in the construction industry. New Renderings Depict Botanicals Theme

February 2023 - Many patient rooms at Barnes-Jewish Hospital have expansive views of Forest Park, rooftop gardens and other green spaces around the medical campus, so bringing nature indoors was a logical design choice for the Campus Renewal interior design team, with a botanical color palette and artwork.Take a look inside. 

Changes Coming to Hospital Lobby

February 2023 - The start of major renovations in the Plaza Lobby are on the horizon later this month when the first phase of interior work begins. Over the next two years, the main and street level lobbies will undergo a complete renovation as part of the Plaza Entry component of the Campus Renewal Project.

November 2022 - From the outside, it may look like your average construction trailer -- but behind the door, a world of opportunities awaits area high school students.

This fall, administrators and teachers from local high schools attended an open house at the Career Resource Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital – a partnership between BJC HealthCare, Tarlton Corporation, McCarthy Building Companies and Washington University to introduce students to construction and health care careers. The center hosts a dynamic, one-day program for high school students that aims to address future workforce needs in the community by sparking an interest in these career fields.
