May 2023 - Business leaders from a variety of industries throughout Missouri visited the Washington University Medical Campus in May as part of Leadership Missouri, a program of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce that aims to enhance leadership skills and deepen participants’ knowledge of the state’s opportunities and challenges.

Spring 2023 - Students from two all-girls schools teamed up to build water-tight roofing structures, testing their critical thinking skills, teamwork and ability to adapt to change in STEM construction workshop hosted by the Campus Renewal team. Twenty-one girls from Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls and Ursuline Academy were grouped into 5 teams to compete.
March 2023 - Major renovations in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza Lobby will begin March 27 – the first of several phases of work. Over the next two years, the main and street level lobbies will undergo a complete renovation as part of the Plaza Entry component of the Campus Renewal Project. Construction to renovate this section of the lobby and gift shop will continue through late 2023.
