KIDstruction Week Exceeds Fundraising Goal

Septeber 2024 - More than $720,000 was raised by the local construction industry during St. Louis Children’s Hospital's annual KIDstruction Week. Ambassador Grady visited the Campus Renewal site at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in June. The BJC and McCarthy teams treated Grady, his mom and three brothers to a fun outing and popsicles. He made new friends in hard hats and steel-toed boots.

Plaza West Tower Topped Out

June 11, 2024 - It was a beautiful day to celebrate a signficant milestone - the topping out of the new Plaza West Tower at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, representing more than 1.7 million hours of labor. The final structural beam, signed by trades men and women, employees, physicians, patients and families, was hoisted 300+ feet to the top of the tower.
